Alison Mitchell

Alison Mitchell is an experienced Acute Care Nurse Practitioner with a career spanning over two decades, currently serving at Memorial Hermann Health System since October 2020. Previously, Alison held similar roles at Methodist Hospital, Texas Medical Center, and Houston Methodist, managing acute and emergent situations, coordinating care across multiple medical specialties, and providing support in both intermediate and medical ICU settings. In addition to clinical practice, Alison has demonstrated leadership as the President of Texas Nurse Practitioners, enhancing organizational operations and financial stability, and has been actively involved in legislative advocacy for advanced practice nurses through the Coalition of Nurses in Advanced Practice.
