Heather Moorehead

Heather Moorehead is an experienced Acute Care Nurse Practitioner with a robust background in cardiology and critical care. Currently serving at Lee Health since July 2020, Heather transitioned from a Cardiology Advanced Practice Provider to a CTICU Advanced Practice Provider. Previous roles include managing advanced heart failure therapies at AdventHealth and overseeing pre- and post-operative care for cardiac and thoracic surgery patients at the University of Virginia. Heather has extensive experience in outpatient cardiology and has provided critical care in various settings, including the VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System and the University of Michigan Health System. Heather holds a Master of Science in Acute Care Nurse Practitioner and a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing from the University of Michigan, along with an early Bachelor’s in Biology from the University of Illinois Chicago.
