Rena Willey has a diverse work experience in healthcare administration and leadership roles. Rena has served as a Board Member for IL AAHAM since 2009 and as the FIRST VICE PRESIDENT OF IL AAHAM since 2015. Rena's tenure at Memorial Hospital in Carthage, Illinois included positions such as Director of Revenue Cycle, Director of Patient Access, and Credit/Collections from 1990 to 2014. Rena also held positions with Illinois CPSI User Group, Illinois Critical Access Healthcare Network, CPSI, and the Hancock County Chapter of the American Red Cross. Rena's contributions reflect their dedication to the healthcare industry and community service.

Rena Willey completed their high school education at Pekin Community High School in 1980. Rena then pursued an Associate of Arts degree in English Language and Literature at Carl Sandburg College from 1993 to 1997. Afterwards, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in English from Western Illinois University between 1998 and 2002. Later on, they expanded their education in healthcare by earning a Certified Revenue Cycle Executive - Institutional certification from the American Association of Healthcare Administrative Management in the field of Revenue Cycle from 2004 to 2013. In 2013, they furthered their expertise by completing the QHR Lean Healthcare Leader program at Quorum Healthcare.
