Christopher Kovacs

Christopher Kovacs has a diverse work experience in various healthcare organizations. Christopher currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Memorial Satilla Health since March 2022. Prior to this, they were the Vice President of Operations at Fort Walton Beach Medical Center from August 2019 to March 2022. Christopher also worked as an Administrative Resident at North Florida Regional Medical Center under HCA Healthcare from June 2018 to August 2019.

Before joining HCA Healthcare, Christopher had a significant role at UF Health. Christopher served as the Interim Surgical Coordinator Manager/Administrative Financial Intern from July 2016 to June 2018. In this role, they managed time off requests, scheduling issues, and helped in interviewing prospective surgical coordinators. Christopher also assisted in enhancing efficiency through divisional coordination sessions. Additionally, they worked as a Medicaid Eligibility Specialist at Florida Hospital from October 2015 to present, playing an instrumental role in constructing an internal Medicaid eligibility system and assisting patients through the Medicaid process.

Christopher Kovacs started their career as a Legal Assistant at Debski & Associates, P.A. from June 2009 to February 2012. With their comprehensive experience in healthcare operations, leadership, finance, and legal assistance, Christopher brings a wealth of knowledge and skills to their roles.

Christopher Kovacs completed their Master's Degree in Health Care Administration at the University of Florida in 2018. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and Government from the University of North Florida, which they attended from 2007 to 2009. Before attending the University of North Florida, Kovacs studied at Santa Fe College from 2005 to 2007.
