Christy Ward

Christy Ward has a diverse work experience spanning various healthcare, education, and non-profit organizations. Christy is currently serving as the President of the MemorialCare Saddleback Medical Center Foundation since May 2021. Prior to this, Christy held various leadership positions at Hoag Hospital Foundation from 2016 to 2021, including Vice President of Principal Gifts and Major and Principal Gifts. Christy also served as the Associate Vice Chancellor for University Advancement at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington from 2014 to 2016. Christy has demonstrated their expertise in development and fundraising through their roles as the Director of Development at Hoag Hospital Foundation, Senior Director of Development at Chapman University, and Western US Major Gifts Officer at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Christy has also contributed to non-profit organizations such as The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, The Music Center, and Easterseals in various development roles.

Christy Ward attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 1988 to 1992, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Mass Communication.
