Affiliate Faculty In Methodist And Wesleyan Theology at Memphis Theological Seminary

Thomas Hermans-Webster, Ph.D., currently serves as an Acquisition Editor at Orbis Books and holds positions as Affiliate Faculty in Methodist and Wesleyan Theology at Memphis Theological Seminary and Lecturer in United Methodist History and Doctrine at Yale Divinity School. Since December 2021, Thomas has been a Steering Committee Member of the Open and Relational Theologies Unit of the American Academy of Religion, focusing on promoting research in open and relational theological perspectives. Previously, Thomas was an Assistant Professor of United Methodist Studies at Pacific School of Religion and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy in Constructive Theology and Theological Ethics from Boston University. Educational qualifications include a Master of Divinity from Southern Methodist University and a Bachelor of Arts in Religion, Philosophy, and Classics from Birmingham-Southern College.
