James Edwards

James Edwards has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. James has held various positions in multiple companies. James started their career at JAI A/S as a Senior Software Engineer and worked there until September 2009. James then joined Release Consulting Limited as a Lead Developer for a few months before moving on to CEX Ltd., where they worked as a Development Manager from April 2010 to September 2011.

After that, they joined Camelot as an Architect from August 2011 to July 2013. Following this, they worked at Camelot Global, first as a Software Delivery Manager from July 2013 to December 2015, and then as the Head of Engineering (UK) from January 2016 to April 2017.

In 2017, they joined Office Depot - Europe as a Senior Manager and stayed there until March 2018. James then joined Racing Post, where they held two positions - Head of Engineering from April 2018 to December 2018, and Director of Engineering from January 2019 to March 2020.

In 2020, they moved to Spotlight Sports Group as the Chief Architect and worked there until May 2022. James then joined Shepper as the Chief Technology Officer from May 2022 to March 2023. Currently, they are working as the Chief Technology Officer at Memrise since March 2023.

James Edwards completed a Diploma in Management Studies from Bucks New University between 2007 and 2008. Prior to that, they attended The Chalfonts School from 1984 to 1989, although no specific degree or field of study is specified for this period. In addition to their formal education, James obtained a certification in Digital Innovation & Transformation from Executive Education at Cambridge Judge Business School in December 2021.
