David Hunter

David Hunter has a long and varied work experience. In 2021, they are serving as a Senior Advisor for Corporate Development at Veritas Technologies LLC, a Senior Advisor for HPC/AI at Groq, a Senior Engineering Consultant at MemVerge, and a Member of the Board of Advisors at Lucata. David is also the Founder and Chief Technology Officer of Hunter 23 Technology. In 2019, they were appointed as a Trustee of the Naval War College Foundation, where they serve as Chairman of the Western Region Membership Task Force and is a member of the Marketing, Audit, Governance and Events Committees. From 2015 to 2018, they were the Vice President and Chief Strategist at Hewlett Packard Labs, Vice President and Chief Technology Officer for Strategy, Software Defined Datacenter, and Vice President and Chief Technology Officer, Converged Data Center, at Hewlett Packard Enterprise. From 2004 to 2014, they served as Chief Architect, Software Defined Data Center Division, Senior Director Of Engineering, Central Quality Engineering, Senior Director Of Engineering, Platform Security, Senior Director of Engineering/Chief Technology Officer World Wide Public Sector, and Director Of Engineering at VMware. In 2002, they were the Director of Operations and Plans at the US Navy, and in 2001 they were a Technical Editor at Home Business Magazine.

David Hunter has a comprehensive educational background. David attended Northeastern University and studied Electrical and Computer Engineering. David also attended the U.S. Naval War College to study National Security & Strategic Planning, and the Joint Forces Staff College, National Defense University to study Joint Force Operations & Planning. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including Agile Project Management with Jira Cloud: 1 Projects, Boards, and Issues, Agile Project Management with Jira Cloud: 2 Lean and Agile Processes, Agile Project Management with Jira Cloud: 3 Advanced Topics, Brand Leadership: Building Brand and Culture, and Certified Agile Leadership I from LinkedIn and the Scrum Alliance, respectively, in December 2021 and September 2018.
