Amanda is a Data Scientist and is responsible for harnessing the power of predictive analytics for rare disease detection. She studied Cognitive Science as an undergraduate before completing an MSc and Ph.D. in Neuroimaging at The Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience, King’s College London. Amanda specialized in using Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and cardiovascular risk factors to identify early markers of neurodegenerative disease. She then continued her work with King’s College London as a post-doctoral researcher applying statistical and machine learning techniques to identify individual clinical risk profiles for individuals experiencing psychosis.
