Gareth Chan has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Gareth began their career at Gap Inc. in 2010 as a Sales Associate. Gareth then worked as an Art Specialty Camp Counselor at Parc Downsview Park Inc. where they coordinated and delivered arts and sports programs. Gareth further expanded their skills as a Summer Teacher at Notabilia Education Center, where they customized curriculums and enhanced their communication and teaching abilities. Gareth also gained experience in research and development at McMaster University, where they worked as a Nanotechnology Research Student and as a Development Assistant for the 3-Wheel Electric Car project. Gareth co-founded Joovo, an engineering firm, and served as the Co-Director and Head of Engineering & Design, leading a team in redesigning medical devices. At the Ontario Ministry of Labour, Gareth worked as an Occupational Health and Safety Outreach, assisting in implementing initiatives to promote workplace safety. Gareth served as a Senior Designer and Designer at Goldmoney, designing marketing materials and optimizing the user experience. Currently, Gareth is the VP Creative at Menē Inc., where they lead the development and optimization of the company's website and collaborates with other departments to execute campaigns and product launches. Throughout their career, Gareth has demonstrated strong skills in design, project management, collaboration, and leadership.
Gareth Chan completed their high school education at St. Robert Catholic High School from 2006 to 2010, focusing on the International Baccalaureate program. Gareth then pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Electrical and Biomedical Engineering from McMaster University, where they studied from 2010 to 2015.
