Atalyne Yator began their work experience as an accounts assistant at Delckim Sacco in 2014. Atalyne Yator then served as an accountant at Delckim from April 2014 to January 2017. In May 2014, they also held the role of accounts assistant at Delckim. Atalyne Yator later worked as an audit assistant at Mazars from June 2015 to December 2015. Yator then joined Windle International Kenya as a finance assistant in February 2017, where they were responsible for various tasks related to project implementation, coordination, and communication. Atalyne Yator worked in this role until January 2019. From February 2019 to November 2022, Yator served as a finance officer at Windle International, where they managed financial aspects of projects, prepared and submitted financial documents, monitored expenses, and ensured compliance with donor requirements. Most recently, in November 2022, they joined MEDA (Mennonite Economic Development Associates) as a finance officer.
Atalyne Yator pursued their education at various institutions and obtained several certifications. Atalyne Yator began their education at Segero Adventist School from 2005 to 2008, where they completed their KCSE (Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education).
Afterwards, they enrolled at Kenyatta University from 2010 to 2014, where they earned a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree with a specialization in Accounting.
In 2019, Atalyne Yator furthered their education at Kenyatta University and completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Finance, which they obtained in 2021.
In addition to their academic accomplishments, Atalyne Yator obtained relevant certifications. In June 2019, they became a Certified Public Accountant through the Kenya Accountants and Secretaries National Examination Board (KASNEB). In November 2020, they obtained the Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) certification from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE).
