Fatima Sy Gueye has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. FATIMA began their career in 2000 as a Research Assistant for the Senegalese Tuberculosis Program, where they worked until 2003. From 2003 to 2005, they served as a Research Assistant at the Curie Institute Le Dantec Hospital.

In 2010, Fatima joined Fouta Insurance & Tax Services as a Staff Assistant, and they remained in that role until 2012. During the same period, from 2011 to 2012, they also worked as an Assistant Director at Zenith Learning Center East.

Fatima then took on the role of Substitute Teacher at Metropolitain Nashville Public Schools from 2019 to 2022. In 2021, they joined the State of Tennessee as a Communicable Disease Investigator and served in that position until 2022.

Most recently, Fatima Sy Gueye has been working at Mental Health Cooperative, starting in 2022. FATIMA initially held the position of Care Manager Adult from August 2022 to April 2023 and then transitioned to the role of Primary Health Coordinator from April 2023 onwards.

Fatima Sy Gueye pursued their education at Austin Peay State University from 2017 to 2019. During this period, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Public Health. Additionally, in October 2019, Fatima obtained certification as a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) from the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, Inc. FATIMA also earned a certification in Being an Effective Team Member from LinkedIn in December 2019.
