Mohsin Ali

Medical Director at Mental Health Cooperative

Dr. Mohsin Ali, MD began his career with Mental Health Cooperative in 2014 as a Child Psychiatrist in their newly opened Chattanooga and Cookeville offices. He brought more than 12 years of psychiatric clinical experience with children and adults in various settings including private practice, community mental health, psychiatric hospital, and medical consultations. Dr. Ali is Board Certified in both Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He completed his residency in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York. Before moving to Tennessee, Dr. Ali lived in England, Pakistan, Philadelphia, and Syracuse. He and his wife, Umbar Shah, M.D. who is a local pediatrician, have called Tennessee home for several years now. Today, Dr. Ali is MHC’s Medical Director.
