Rita Deattrea Beckford

Rita Deattrea Beckford serves as the Medical Director and Collaborative Physician at Premise Health since January 2009, specializing in Lifestyle, Family, and Obesity Medicine within virtual healthcare. As President and CEO of Beckford Enterprises since December 2004, Rita is recognized as an internationally acclaimed health and wellness thought leader and professional speaker. Previously, Rita was a National Speaker on Obesity at Novo Nordisk from March 2015 to May 2017, contributing significant insights through clinical presentations for physicians. Additionally, from November 2014 to July 2016, Rita contributed as a writer on The Dr. Oz Show, leveraging expertise in fitness and obesity. Rita also worked as a Prevention and Wellness consultant with CareATC between January 2010 and May 2015. Currently, Rita is pursuing a Certificate in Playwriting and Screenwriting at UCLA and a Board Program for Senior Executives at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.
