Alexa Charnley currently serves as a Trustee for Headway - the brain injury association and as the Director of Fundraising and Communications for the Mental Health Foundation. Previously, Alexa held the position of Non Executive Director at Mental Health at Work. At Save the Children UK, Alexa progressed through various leadership roles, including Director of Fundraising Development and Head of Marketing - Integrated Campaign Delivery. Alexa's extensive experience at Cancer Research UK involved multiple secondments and significant roles in business and product development, notably managing the successful Stand Up To Cancer initiative and orchestrating a major YouTube fundraising event. Earlier career experiences include roles at Unilever and Oxfam. Alexa holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Leadership and Management from the University of Sussex and a Post Graduate Certificate from BPP Malpas, as well as a BA in English from the University of Nottingham.
