Emerson Ball has extensive experience in the field of social work, currently serving as a Seward CSP Counselor at MHR, Inc. since September 2014. Prior roles include Therapy Intern at RECLAIM from September 2018 to June 2019, Advantage Services Intern at CommonBond Communities from September 2013 to May 2014, URGO Researcher at Augsburg College in the summer of 2013, and Social Work Intern at Avenues for Homeless Youth from September 2012 to May 2013. Emerson Ball holds a Masters of Social Work from Augsburg University, completed in 2019, and a Bachelor of Social Work from Augsburg University, obtained in 2014.

The mission of Mental Health Resources, Inc. is to foster hope, health and recovery for those affected by mental illness and substance use disorder. MHR collaborates with clients and families to facilitate learning and growth for individuals, families and the community and to foster client empowerment and expectation of success. We believe that people with mental illness can learn to lead full lives in the community. We challenge ourselves and the larger community to address barriers that inhibit their independence, growth, and recovery.
