Edward Hartwell Goose

Edward Hartwell Goose has a strong background in engineering and consulting. Edward started their career as a Junior Developer at Syngenta in 2007. In 2010, they joined PA Consulting Group as a Consultant, working on high-scale cloud projects for Google and the UK Met Office. During their time at PA Consulting Group, Edward built and architected platforms for collecting weather observations and created award-winning games for Google. In 2015, they became the Head of Engineering at Mention Me, where they later transitioned to the role of Chief Engineer. In this role, Edward is responsible for the overall architecture of the Mention Me platform and supports the Engineering team through coaching and mentoring. Edward also oversees the 24/7 operations of the platform, including infrastructure, reliability, support, and security practices.

Edward Hartwell Goose attended the University of York from 2005 to 2010, where they earned an MEng degree in Computer Science. Prior to that, they attended Portsmouth Grammar School from 1998 to 2005, although no specific degree or field of study is indicated. In terms of additional certifications, Edward Goose obtained the certification of Google App Engine Qualified Engineer from Google in November 2012 and the Certified Scrum Master certification from Scrum Alliance in March 2011.
