Nick Barraclough started their professional career in 2009 as a Bar Steward at Nottingham Trent Students Union. From 2010 to 2011, they worked as a Strength and Conditioning Intern at Sport 981. In 2011, they became the Operations Manager for the Aaron Tyler Running Club, where they successfully expanded the business and implemented recruitment campaigns. Nick then worked as a Sales Associate at Moti from 2012 to 2014. From 2014 to 2015, they served as a Run Supervisor at Runners Need. In 2015, they became the Managing Director - Europe at Criteek, where they were responsible for various tasks such as product testing, talent management, and account management. Nick left Criteek in 2019. From 2011 to 2015, they also ran their own business as a Personal Trainer. From 2013 to 2020, they owned and served as the Editor of The Running Shoe Review, an online platform providing honest reviews of running shoes. In 2018, they joined Mention Me as a Client Success Manager and gradually progressed to the role of Strategy Manager, and then Senior Solutions Consultant. In their current role at Mention Me, they are responsible for optimizing performance and delivering strategic plans for a portfolio of over 80 clients.
Nick Barraclough attended Nottingham Trent University from 2007 to 2010, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Sport and Exercise Science. In addition to their formal education, Nick has also obtained several certifications. These include becoming a Certified Personal Trainer, a Performance Enhancement Specialist, and a Corrective Exercise Specialist from the National Academy of Sports Medicine in December 2010 and February 2011 respectively. Nick also obtained a Customer Success Manager Certified Professional certification from Gainsight in July 2019 and a Circl Leader as a Coach certification from Circl in December 2020. Most recently, they obtained a Stepping into Management certification from QA in October 2021. Furthermore, Nick is also pursuing a Selling for Impact Certification, which they are expected to complete in March 2023.
