In 2011, they worked as a Freelance Developer on various projects, gaining experience in PHP, JavaScript, and data analysis using the R language.

In 2013, Sebastián joined Monetate as a Javascript Engineer and later became a Senior Javascript Engineer. Sebastián contributed to the development of custom solutions for clients, modified client websites, and supported other teams with technical issues. Sebastián also took on the role of Team Lead for the EMEA technical team, managing hiring, training, and processes.

Sebastián continued their career at Monetate as the Technical Lead for the Development Services team, focusing on codebase improvement and client satisfaction.
