Karen Finocchio Lubeck

Karen is mission-driven to her core and committed to empowering individuals to achieve their potential. She is perpetual optimist whose energy overflows when working within thought-leadership to drive change in higher education. She is passionate about how technology can grow and nurture relationships, fuel global inclusiveness and impact student success. Connecting people and building long-lasting relationships gives her purpose. My diverse 20+ year higher education experience includes varying roles in athletics, admissions and advancement with edtech start-ups, Eduventures and institutions including Brown University, Bates College, Endicott College.

Karen holds an M.B.A from University of Illinois Gies College of Business (Go Illini!) with focus on innovation/entrepreneurship, strategic management and digital marketing. She holds a B.A. from Bates College (Go Bobcats!) with double major in Political Science and French. She is a member of Gies College of Business Dean’s Business Council, Bates College Alumni Council and currently serves as President of Bates College Key, an honor organization for student and alumni leadership. When not working or volunteering, you will find her racing sailboats, or really anything on the water.
