Chris Norton has a diverse work experience that spans several industries. In 1976, they started their career at Honeywell Information Systems as a Customer Services Director, a role they held until 1991. Chris then joined Dell, where they worked as a Customer Services Director from 1991 to 1997, and later as a Sales Director from 1997 to 2001. Following a short sabbatical, Chris became an Independent Consultant at Laureus in 2001, where they worked with global organizations such as Dell and Vodafone on sales transformation programs. In 2005, Chris co-founded and became the Owner and Director of Mentor Group, a company that provides sales transformation, business development, and leadership development services to global, European, and UK companies. Chris currently serves as the Managing Director of Mentor Group and is responsible for running the business and delivering consultancy and development services to their client base. Additionally, they have been involved with Watford Football Club since 2000, serving as a Director and Chairman of their Sports Community and Educational Trust.

Chris Norton attended Watford Boys Grammar School from 1966 to 1973. Following that, from 1973 to 1976, they studied Electrical Engineering and obtained a BA degree at the University of Hertfordshire.
