Marlin Waldrep has extensive experience in quality control and inspection for rotating equipment within the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as a Rotating Equipment QC/QA Inspector at Mentor IMC Group since 2019, Marlin is involved in machinery quality control for the Ethane Cracker Project. Previous roles include Rotating Equipment Inspector, QA/QC at Mitsubishi Heavy Industries for the ExxonMobil Mont Belview Plastics Plant, and Senior Machinery Technician/Advisor at UNIVERSAL PLANT SERVICES, where responsibilities included monitoring and addressing pipe strain issues in pumps and compressors. Additional experience includes serving as a Senior Machinery Advisor at Becht Engineering, overseeing the repair process of a Worthington Steam Turbine, and a long tenure as a Rotating/Reciprocating Equipment Technician/Machinist at ExxonMobil Baytown. Marlin completed the U.S. Department of Labor Machinist Apprenticeship Program from 1978 to 1981 and holds a Journeyman Machinist credential in Machinery Maintenance/Installation.
