Abdul Rashid Abdulai

Abdul Rashid Abdulai, MS has a diverse work experience in various organizations. Abdul Rashid is currently working as an Associate Researcher at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Prior to this, they held the position of Director of Research Education at Mentoring in Medicine. Abdul Rashid also worked as a Biomedical Scientist at The Rockefeller University and as the Chief Executive Officer of Afroconstruct LLC.

Abdulai has experience in the field of education as well, having worked as a Private Tutor at Axim Tutors. Abdul Rashid has also contributed to scientific research as a Science Research Specialist at the Melanoma Research Alliance and as a Research Associate and Lab Technician at The City College of New York.

In addition, Abdulai has been actively involved in various organizations such as the American Athletic Conference Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and The National Society of Collegiate Scholars, where they served as a Committee Member and Chapter Founder and President respectively. Moreover, they gained exposure to the field of cancer research through their role as a Summer Science Intern at The Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

Abdul Rashid Abdulai, MS has a Master of Science degree in Translational Medicine from The City College of New York (2019-2020). Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Biology, General from the same institution (2014-2016). Abdul also completed their high school education at Opoku Ware School, specializing in General Science (2008-2012). Abdul Rashid has an additional certification in "Drug and Medical Device Development: A Strategic Approach" from MIT xPRO, obtained in 2020.
