Khalid Zia

Khalid Zia has extensive experience in audit and finance roles, starting in 1997 as an Audit Supervisor at Deloitte & Touche. Khalid then worked as an Audit Senior at Deloitte & Touche and later as a Senior Audit Manager at Grant Thornton LLP. In 2007, they joined EY as an Audit Manager and then moved to PricewaterhouseCoopers as an Audit Manager. In 2014, they became the Group Internal Audit Manager at KCA Deutag. Most recently, they held leadership positions at Menzies Aviation, where they served as the Head of Internal Audit - Finance and the Head of Global Business Services. Overall, Khalid has a strong background in audit, finance management, and shared service center operations.

Khalid Zia received their Bachelor's degree in Commerce, with a focus on Accounting and Finance, from the Government College of Commerce and Economics in Karachi, Pakistan, from 1992 to 1996. Khalid then pursued a Fellowship in Chartered Accountancy from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan from 1995 to 2001. In 2001, they obtained a Fellowship in Public Accountancy from the Pakistan Institute of Public Finance Accountants. Most recently, from 2016 to 2020, Khalid Zia earned the title of Associate Chartered Accountant from ICAEW.
