Wayne Basson

Wayne Basson is an experienced aviation professional with a career spanning over 17 years. Currently serving as General Manager (Interim) at Menzies Aviation since April 2016, Wayne has held various roles within the company, including Station Manager, Ramp & Baggage Manager, Ramp & Cabin Services Manager, and Head of Cabin Services. Prior to Menzies Aviation, Wayne worked at Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service as a Firefighter from April 2015 to March 2017 and was employed at Swissport from February 2006 to April 2016 as Ramp Team Leader, Trainer, and H&S Auditor. Wayne completed education at Great Sankey High School with a GCSE in General Studies between 1997 and 2002.
