Blayne Greiner

Exhibition Technical Engineer at Meow Wolf

Blayne Greiner has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. They started their career in 1996 as a Carpenter/General Construction worker at Greiner Construction, where they worked until 2006. From 2009 to 2012, Blayne worked as an Instructor Windy City Harvest at the Chicago Botanic Garden, teaching curricula and practicum in organic agricultural techniques and managing urban farm sites and construction projects. In 2014, they were a Program Manager at The Plant in Chicago. From 2015 to 2016, Blayne worked as a Gardener at the Albuquerque Botanic Gardens for the City of Albuquerque. In 2016, they became the Chief Operating Officer at Roanhorse Consulting, LLC, where they remained until 2019. Blayne then worked as a Green Building Internship Supervisor at CNM Ingenuity in 2021. They also had a freelance position as a Carpenter from 2018 onwards. Currently, Blayne is employed at Meow Wolf, starting as an Exhibition Carpenter in 2022 and later transitioning to the role of Exhibition Technical Engineer in 2023.

Blayne Greiner pursued their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Theatre/Theater from Columbia College Chicago, which they completed from 2001 to 2004. Later, they enrolled at The University of New Mexico and are currently pursuing a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Experimental Art and Technology, which is expected to be completed in 2023.
