Emmy Babyak

Emmy Babyak has a diverse range of work experience in the entertainment industry. In 2021, they worked as an Entertainment Technician at Busch Gardens Williamsburg. The following year, in 2022, Emmy joined The Santa Fe Opera as a Carpentry Apprentice, where they contributed to the construction and maintenance of scenic elements for multiple shows. Emmy also gained experience as a stage crew member for the production of Carmen and completed training in operating forklift and personnel lift equipment. In the same year, Emmy worked as a Fabricator at Majestic Scenic, where they assisted in building scenery, prepared it for transport, and maintained the shop. As of 2023, they are currently working at Meow Wolf as an Associate Technical Director.

Emmy Babyak has pursued their education in the field of Scenic Technology. From 2019 to 2023, they attended the University of North Carolina School of the Arts and obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree. Prior to that, from 2015 to 2019, they attended the Governor's School for the Arts, where they obtained an Arts Certificate with a specialization in Technical Theatre/Theatre Design and Technology.
