Jacoba Wikselaar

Jacoba Wikselaar has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Starting in 2018, they worked as a Political Science Teaching Assistant at the University of Colorado Denver until 2019. They also served as a Harding Fellow on Student Hunger and Homelessness during this time. In 2019, they worked as a Medical Office Director at Resource Medical Center and later became an English Second Language Teacher at VIPKid. In 2020, they held positions as a Human Resources Coordinator at Jovial Concepts and as a Nanny. They also worked as a Graphic Designer at Jovial Concepts from October 2020 to March 2021. From 2021 to 2023, they worked as a Restaurant Server/Bartender at Mineshaft Tavern and as a Bartender at Beer Creek Brewing Company. Since April 2023, they have been working as a Program and Outreach Assistant Manager at Meow Wolf.

Jacoba Wikselaar earned a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Government from the University of Colorado Denver, completing their education from 2012 to 2016. In addition to their degree, they have obtained various certifications in areas such as creating a positive and healthy work environment, leading organizations on a journey of allyship, addressing unconscious bias as a leader, cultivating cultural competence and inclusion, equity first, inclusion in a global enterprise, inclusive leadership, and ending imposter syndrome. These certifications were obtained from LinkedIn in April and May of 2023.
