Shakira MacLyons is the Director of Customer Activation & Communication Strategy at meQuilibrium. Shakira has over 10 years experience in marketing and communications, with a focus on brand strategy and customer experience. Shakira has a proven track record in developing and executing marketing plans that drive business growth and customer engagement.

Prior to joining meQuilibrium, Shakira was the City Marketing Manager at cove.is, where they developed marketing strategies and managed execution for the Boston market. Shakira also served as the Director of Marketing and Communications at Bottom Line, where they developed and implemented a national communication strategy for the organization. In their role as Brand and Customer Experience Manager at The Z Spot Boston, Shakira was responsible for developing and managing the brand identity and customer experience for the company.

Shakira began their career as a Senior Consultant in Client and Consumer Services for Global Accounts at C Space. In this role, they provided strategic guidance and support to clients in the development of customer engagement programs.

Shakira holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Simmons College.

Shakira MacLyons attended Startup Institute Boston for digital marketing, UMass Boston for a Bachelor of Science in management, marketing, and international studies, and Snowden International School at Copley for Chinese studies.
