Jan Nielek

Jan Nielek has a diverse work experience in various software development roles. Jan recently worked as a Senior cloud software developer at Merapar, where they contributed to a distributed media management project for the HayU platform. Jan'sresponsibilities included working on the React frontend and utilizing various AWS services with typescript, javascript, and serverless framework. Prior to that, Jan was a Senior Software Development Engineer at ASTEK Polska.

Before their role at Merapar, Jan was a Software Engineer at Carrier (ex UTC Fire&Security), where they designed and implemented a log aggregation system using Elasticsearch on AWS for Marioff. Jan also has experience as an Embedded developer at Axbit AS, where they focused on firmware development for Nofence, an IoT goat collar. At Intel Corporation, Jan worked as a Test Engineering intern for three years, and they gained further experience as a Test development trainee at Flextronics.

Jan Nielek completed their bachelor's degree in Computer Science (Informatyka) from Gdańsk University of Technology from 2015 to 2018. In October 2022, they obtained the certification of AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
