Carolyn Ritterson Lew, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Carolyn currently holds the role of Lead Research Analyst at Merative since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at IBM, where they served as a Lead Research Analyst from 2020 to 2022 and as a Senior Research Analyst from 2020 to 2022. Before joining IBM, Dr. Lew was a Research Analyst I at Truven Health Analytics®, part of the IBM Watson Health™ business, from 2017 to 2020. Dr. Lew obtained their Ph.D. in Molecular and Cell Biology and Biochemistry from Boston University, where their Ph.D. thesis focused on "Non-glycolytic Roles for Aldolase in Actin-Dependent Cellular Processes," during their tenure from 2004 to 2011. Carolyn began their career with a Research Internship at A.I. duPont Hospital for Children in 2003.
Dr. Carolyn Ritterson Lew obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Cell Biology/Biochemistry from Bucknell University, where they studied from 2000 to 2004. Carolyn then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology at Boston University, completing their studies from 2004 to 2011.
