Adriana Avella

Adriana Avella is a seasoned professional in business development and online retail with significant experience across various companies. Currently serving as the Business Development Manager for Mercado Pago at Mercado Libre since April 2023, Adriana previously held the position of Head of Consumer Lending at Tangelo from August 2022 to February 2023. As a CO-Founder, Country Manager, and Business Development Director at Bewe Software from June 2015 to September 2022, Adriana contributed to the company's growth and strategic direction. Prior to that, Adriana was Vice President of Online Retail for both Mexico and Peru at Groupon, managing sales and operations in those markets. Additionally, Adriana started as a Senior Buyer in Colombia. Adriana holds two degrees in Industrial Engineering, one from Universidad de Los Andes obtained between 2006 and 2011 and another from Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, which is ongoing.
