Luz Alvarez

Luz Alvarez is a seasoned UX/UI design professional with extensive experience in leading and managing design teams across various industries. Currently serving as a UX Design Project Leader at Mercado Libre since June 2021, Luz excels in methodologies development, team identity establishment, and project efficiency optimization. Previously, Luz held key roles including Director of UX/UI at Mareigua, where the focus was on creating new financial products, and as UX/UI Leader at AXA COLPATRIA, which involved enhancing digital asset delivery. Additional experience includes Senior UX/UI Designer at QUADI, Senior Creative Director at Ribeney for government communications, and Creative Director at Helisa Software, overseeing digital projects. Luz's foundational education includes a degree in Graphic Design from Universidad Jorge Tadeo Lozano and a Web Design degree from Nueva Escuela de Diseño y Comunicación.
