Sebastian Barrios

Sebastian Barrios is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience across multiple organizations. Currently serving as SVP of Technology and previously VP of Technology at Mercado Libre since June 2020, Sebastian has also held significant positions including CTO at Cabify and Co-Founder/CTO at Yaxi, where a successful multi-million dollar acquisition by Cabify was executed in 2017. Sebastian co-founded Zeb Studios and developed a top-ranking mobile application, while also contributing as a Software Engineer in freelancing roles. An accomplished Endeavor Entrepreneur, Sebastian has been recognized for early achievements and actively mentors other entrepreneurs. Educational credentials include a Computer Engineering degree from Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México, an Innovation and Leadership program at Stanford University, and various advanced courses from Udacity in Machine Learning and Self-Driving Cars.
