Daniel Cavanaugh

Daniel Cavanaugh has over 30 years of experience in mortgage sales and operations. Daniel worked as a VP Mortgage Lender at Mercantile Bank of Michigan from September 2014 to the present. Prior to that, they were an Inside Lender at Independent Bank from March 2014 to September 2014. From February 2009 to February 2014, they served as a Team Manager at Fifth Third Bank, managing a team of mortgage processors and underwriters. Daniel also has experience at JPMorgan Chase, where they were a Private Banker from July 2008 to February 2009 and an AVP/Area Manager from February 2001 to June 2008. At Bank One, they held the position of VP/Mortgage Loan Sales Manager from December 1991 to February 2001, where they grew the mortgage loan officer sales team and increased production.

Daniel Cavanaugh began their education at Michigan State University in 1979, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business. Daniel completed this degree in 1981. Later on, in 1983, Daniel enrolled at Western Michigan University to earn a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree, specializing in Finance, General. Daniel successfully completed their MBA in 1987.
