Natalya Shabalina

Natalya Shabalina is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in management accounting, fund accounting, and auditing. Currently serving as a Management Accountant at Mercato Metropolitano since August 2022, Natalya focuses on preparing monthly management accounts, reviewing financial reports for discrepancies, and ensuring accurate recording of financial transactions. Prior experience includes working as an Associate Fund Accountant at EBRD, where year-end financial statements were prepared in compliance with IFRS, and as an Audit Associate at PwC Malta, overseeing the planning and execution of financial statement audits for diverse clients. An early role as an Accounting Intern at Chetcuti Cauchi Advocates involved generating internal management reporting and managing bank reconciliations. Natalya holds an ACA from ICAEW and a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Finance from the University of York.
