Claire Rampersadh has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Claire is currently employed as a Data Analyst at Mercator AI, where they started in April 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Waterloo from May 2021 to May 2022. Before their position at the University of Waterloo, Claire held multiple roles at the University of Cape Town. Claire worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow from February 2020 to February 2021, and also served as a Part-time Lecturer during the same period. Claire Rampersadh obtained their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cape Town, where they studied from 2013 to 2016. Claire later pursued a higher degree, completing their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mechanical Engineering at the same university from 2017 to 2019. In addition to their formal education, Claire has also obtained several certifications. Claire received the "Data Scientist with Python" certification from DataCamp in January 2023. In June 2022, they completed the "2022 Complete Python Bootcamp From Zero to Hero in Python" certification from Udemy, and in April 2022, they finished "The Complete SQL Bootcamp 2022: Go from Zero to Hero" certification, also from Udemy. Claire has also obtained the "Verified International Academic Qualifications" certification from World Education Services in December 2020. Lastly, they have completed two certifications related to project management: "Business Systems Analysis" and "Agile Project Management" from the University of Cape Town in October 2020 and September 2020, respectively.
