Alex Olkhovskiy

Alex Olkhovskiy has extensive work experience in the field of IT. Alex started their career in 1994 as a Unix and Novell NetWare Administrator at Radom. From 1996 to 2004, they worked as a Unix and Storage engineer at OJSC Vimpelcom. In 2004, they joined Dell as a Unix engineer before moving to Centrica in 2005 as a Storage engineer. From 2006 to 2018, they worked at Morgan Stanley as a Scala, Java, and Perl developer. In 2018, they took on the role of Director at Mono Technology Limited. Alex then worked as a Scala developer at Mercator IT Solutions on site at HMRC from 2018 to 2021. In 2021, they joined Credit Karma as a Scala Developer until 2022. Currently, they are working as a Scala developer at Mercator Digital.

Alex Olkhovskiy obtained a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Bauman Moscow State Technical University, which they attended from 1987 to 1994. In addition, they have earned several certifications from Coursera, including Programming Languages in March 2013, Functional Programming Principles in Scala in November 2012, and Compilers in July 2012.
