Eileen Norcross

Vice President For Applied Research at Mercatus Center

Eileen Norcross has extensive work experience in policy research and analysis. Eileen currently serves as the Vice President for Applied Research at the Mercatus Center at George Mason University since April 2018. Prior to this role, they were the Program Director for the State and Local Policy Project at the same institution from August 2014 to April 2018. Eileen began their career at the Mercatus Center in 2003 as a Senior Research Fellow. Norcross also worked as a Warren Brookes Fellow at the Competitive Enterprise Institute from September 2001 to September 2002 and as a Writer for The American Spectator from July 2000 to July 2001.

Eileen Norcross completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Economics and U.S. History at Rutgers University - Newark from 1989 to 1996. Eileen then pursued their Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Economics at Rutgers University from 1994 to 1996.
