Kadambari Shah Mathur is a Research Associate at the Mercatus Center at George Mason University since February 2022, leading The 1991 Project which commemorates India's economic liberalization through various research initiatives. Previously, Kadambari worked as a Research Associate at the Energy Policy Institute at the University of Chicago, focusing on the Air Quality Life Index.
