Kadambari Shah Mathur

Kadambari Shah Mathur is a Research Associate at the Mercatus Center at George Mason University since February 2022, leading The 1991 Project which commemorates India's economic liberalization through various research initiatives. Previously, Kadambari worked as a Research Associate at the Energy Policy Institute at the University of Chicago, focusing on the Air Quality Life Index. As a Clinton Global Fellow, Kadambari addressed women's financial empowerment in India. A Senior Associate at the IDFC Institute, contributions included analyzing traffic congestion in Mumbai and collaborating on urban planning projects. Kadambari has also served as a Consultant at the Legatum Institute, providing insights for the Global Index of Economic Openness.
