Leah Kral

Senior Director, Strategy And Innovation at Mercatus Center

Leah Kral is an expert facilitator and author in the field of social change and innovation for nonprofits. Leah is currently working as an Author for Innovation for Social Change (Wiley, 2022), where they have published a book on successful nonprofits. Leah is also the Senior Director of Strategy and Innovation at The Mercatus Center at George Mason University, where they provide consulting and workshops to internal teams and nonprofit partners. Leah has been in this role since 2006. Prior to their current positions, Leah worked as a Nonprofit Management Fellow at Stand Together, a Community Development Fellow at Duquesne University, and served in the Peace Corps as a Computer Literacy Curriculum Designer and Instructor.

Leah Kral began their education in 2004 at Duquesne University, where they pursued a Master of Arts degree in Public Policy Analysis. Leah attended this university until 2006. In 2021, Leah attended Universidad Francisco Marroquín, where they completed a certificate program in Cocreation Facilitation Training. Additionally, in 2022, they took an Executive Ed course in Design thinking at The Johns Hopkins University.
