Weifeng Zhong

Weifeng Zhong is an accomplished researcher and advisor with extensive experience in economic policy and analysis. Currently serving as a Senior Advisor for the Office for Fiscal and Regulatory Analysis at America First Policy Institute since January 2024, Zhong also holds positions as an Affiliated Scholar and Senior Research Fellow at the Mercatus Center at George Mason University. Additionally, contributions to the Washington Examiner and membership on the Leadership Council of the Policy Simulation Library are notable roles. Previous experience includes a Research Fellow position at the American Enterprise Institute from July 2015 to March 2019 and an expert role at Open Research Group, Inc. since August 2018. An educational background includes advanced degrees in Managerial Economics and Strategy from Northwestern University, and Economics from The University of Hong Kong, along with a Bachelor of Business Administration from Shantou University.
