Shahlah Electra Somerset possesses extensive experience in mentorship and tutoring across various prestigious organizations. Currently serving as a Mentor at Mercedes-Benz China and Oriental DreamWorks since 2014 and 2013 respectively, Shahlah also holds long-term roles as a Super Tutor and now Mentor at Roche Pharmaceuticals since 2010, and as a Career Coach and Mentor at The Export-Import Bank of China since 2009. Additionally, Shahlah has been involved with Ernst & Young and Deloitte providing tutoring and career coaching services. As a self-employed professional since 2004, Shahlah has offered consulting in Business English, mentorship, and career coaching to an array of notable clients including major corporations and universities. Previous roles include being a Top VIP One-on-One Teacher at Hiknow and a Sales Trainer at US Home/Lennar Homes, as well as working with the United Nations Headquarters focusing on financial institutions and languages. Shahlah holds a B.A. in English and Romance Languages from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Ph.D. in English Language from Columbia University.
