Mark Stiles is an accomplished Senior Brake Duct Design Engineer at Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team since December 2017, specializing in the design of complex high-temperature composite parts for Formula 1 racing cars. Stiles has a solid background in mechanical and aerodynamic design, having previously held positions at Renault Sport Racing as a Composite & Mechanical Design Engineer, where responsibilities included designing metallic and composite parts for rear brake ducts and resolving mechanical faults. Experience as a Wind Tunnel Model Design Engineer at both Lotus F1 Team and Scuderia Toro Rosso involved designing aerodynamic components for rapid prototyping. Earlier roles included a position as a Graduate Production Engineer at McLaren Racing focused on NC programming and quality data analysis at BMW Mini.
