Katherine Long

Katherine Long is a partner at Mercer, specializing in healthcare actuary services and government programs, particularly Medicaid. With over 15 years of experience, Katherine focuses on helping state governments enhance the access, quality, and efficiency of care for low-income Americans. As a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries, Katherine manages large state client relationships and advocates for women in the actuarial field by co-leading the Women@Mercer Mountain States chapter. Katherine holds a BA in Mathematics and a BS in Biology from Arizona State University and previously worked as an undergraduate research assistant in ecological stoichiometry.
