Matthew Chapman

Matthew Chapman serves as the Head of Product at Merchant Capital South Africa since June 2017. Previously, Matthew was an Asset Management Analyst at NFB Financial Services Group from January 2013 to April 2017, contributing to the investment committee managing ZAR 3 billion in assets under management. Responsibilities included research on cyclical shifts in global asset classes, development of macroeconomic investment theses, and extensive regression analysis for asset price forecasting. Matthew holds a B Comm Honours in Financial Analysis and Portfolio Management and a Bachelor of Commerce in Politics, Economics, and Finance from the University of Cape Town, along with a Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning from the University of the Free State.
