Peleg Bartfeld

Peleg Bartfeld, CFA, currently serves as the President and Chief Financial Officer of Merchant Growth since January 2018, where the organization is recognized as one of Canada’s leading fintech providers of credit to small businesses. In parallel, Peleg holds the position of Managing Partner and Chief Financial Officer at Merchant Opportunities Fund, which was established to support Merchant Growth's small business credit portfolio and has since diversified its investment activities. Additionally, Peleg is the Chief Financial Officer of tabit, a B2B Buy Now, Pay Later solution launched in 2021. Prior experience includes roles as Chief Risk Officer at Venbridge and Senior Analyst at RBC Global Asset Management, focusing on Canadian equities. Peleg also contributed as a Research Associate and Fund Manager at the UBC Portfolio Management Foundation and served as a Summer Associate at Guardian Capital. Peleg is a CFA charterholder and holds an Honours Commerce degree in Finance from The University of British Columbia.
