Ivan Alias

Ivan Alias is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles within the insurance and aviation sectors. Currently serving as the Deputy Chief Commercial Officer at Merchantrade Asia since November 2017, Ivan has held positions including Executive Vice President - Corporate and Business Development and Head of Sales and Marketing, focusing on innovative solutions for migrant workers. Previously, Ivan worked at Prudential Assurance Malaysia Berhad as Manager of Corporate Strategy, and at AirAsiaX Berhad where responsibilities included business and financial analysis, project management, and operational statistics. Additionally, Ivan's background includes actuarial roles at AMLIFE INSURANCE, involving statutory reporting and risk analysis. Ivan holds a Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
