Lori Kocevar

Ms. Kocevar joined Merchants Capital in the spring of 2020 as a Senior Processor for the multi-family FHA platform and managed the due diligence process, including engaging all third-party reports and preparing and submitting the Pre-Application and Firm Commitment Application packages. In April 2021, Ms. Kocevar transitioned to her current role as Vice President, Tax Credit Equity Closings, where she manages the due diligence and closing process for all lower-tier equity transactions. Prior to joining Merchants, Ms. Kocevar spent eight years at a national tax credit equity syndicator, where she started in Asset Management and transitioned to Assistant Vice President, Closing Coordinator, working closely with Mr. Reed to close lower-tier equity investments. Ms. Kocevar has a true passion for affordable housing and has over 25 years of industry-related experience. Ms. Kocevar has earned several certifications and designations, including Certified Apartment Portfolio Supervisor (CAPS); Affordable Housing Manager (AHM); National Compliance Professional Executive (NCP-E); Certified Credit Compliance Professional (C3P) and Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP).
