Finn Guenther

Finn Guenther, PhD, MBA has a diverse work experience in various companies and roles. From 2016, they have been working at Merck Group, where they held the positions of Head of Portfolio, Financial Performance & Steering - CFO Digital Strategy & Realization and Head of Controlling | FP&A - Finance Digital & Project Syntropy. Prior to their work at Merck Group, they worked at Horváth & Partners Management Consultants as a Consultant from 2014 to 2015. Before that, they were a Consultant at CENS from 2012 to 2014. In 2010, they worked as a Project Manager at CEPRA - Center for Performance Research & Analytics.

Finn Guenther holds a Ph.D. in Management from the University of St.Gallen. Finn also has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Business Administration and Management from Colorado State University Pueblo, as well as a Master's Degree in Accounting and Business/Management from Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz.

In addition to their formal education, Finn Guenther has obtained several certifications. Finn completed the Professional Agile Leadership™ - Evidence-Based Management™ (PAL-EBM) certification from Scrum.org in December 2022. Finn also obtained a certification in Leadership & Innovation from +RASMUSSEN in September 2022. Furthermore, they completed the Organizational Design for Digital Transformation certification from the MIT Sloan School of Management in March 2021. Finn Guenther also holds the CMA Certified Management Accountant certification from the IMA | Institute of Management Accountants, which they obtained in May 2014. Additionally, they have a certification in Powerful Influencing from Sladen Consulting, and an IMA Data Analytics & Visualization Fundamentals Certificate, although specific dates for these certifications are not provided.
